From a management perspective, PPE selection should not rely solely on standard configurations but should be dynamically adjusted based on job risk assessments. Enterprise safety management personnel need to work with procurement departments to establish a risk-oriented PPE selection mechanism, combining process flows, environmental parameters, and employee feedback to develop protection plans by scenario and position. For example, respiratory and facial protection should be strengthened in electrolysis workshops, while in casting areas, the focus should be on preventing high-temperature and mechanical injuries.
In addition, training and supervision are important aspects of ensuring the effectiveness of PPE. Employees need to understand the applicable scenarios, wearing methods, and maintenance requirements of different protective equipment to avoid protection failure due to misuse or negligence.
