In scenarios such as oil, gas, and chemical industries, and electronics manufacturing, static accumulation can cause explosions or equipment damage. Therefore, antistatic/conductive safety footwear becomes essential.
The AEGLE E-Guard series has undergone conductivity testing under extreme conditions: in a cycling environment of -20℃~+50℃ and humidity 20%~90%, the sole resistance consistently remains at 105~106 Ω range, compliant with EN ISO 20345 standard.
After application in a petrochemical plant, workers reported a significant reduction in static sparks, and production line downtime decreased by 18%.
Conductivity tests show that safety footwear must not only meet mechanical protection requirements but also consider electrical performance. AEGLE plans to introduce a real-time static monitoring module in the E-Guard series in the future to further enhance safety levels.
