In high-risk working environments, cut accidents on the shoe upper occur from time to time. Traditional leather or fabric uppers are difficult to provide sufficient cut resistance.
The UHMWPE + aramid composite fiber upper developed by AEGLE combines lightweight and high strength. Experimental data shows: its cut resistance level reaches F grade, yet the whole shoe weight is 220g lighter than traditional steel mesh uppers.
In applications in chemical plants and glass processing factories, workers report that the upper is not only lightweight and breathable, but also effectively blocks cuts from broken glass and sharp metal fragments. With the TPU reinforcement layer, the overall abrasion resistance of the upper is improved by 38%.
This material innovation achieves "comfort and protection in one" for safety footwear. AEGLE will continue to promote this technology to more shoe models to meet the needs of different industries.
