Respiratory Protection

The air filter is primarily used to remove oil mist, water vapor, and particulates, reducing breathable compressed air to 0.5 microns. The filter is placed between the respirator air supply source and the respirator hose, with air entering through the inlet. Once the air is filtered, moisture is removed and discharged through a drain valve at the bottom of the filter. The air filter is equipped with four manifolds for use with up to four respirator facepieces. When fitted with a water separator and carbon filter, the air filter meets OSHA 1910.94 (6)(i) requirements, and by installing a pressure-reducing valve to regulate the air supply to the respirator, it can also meet 1910.94 (6)(ii) requirements.
